Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for Relay subscriptions. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service. Billing is processed by Paddle.

2. Subscription billing

Relay is a subscription service. Your plan renews automatically at the start of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Charges for a billing period are made in advance for the upcoming period.

3. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Workspace administrators can manage billing and cancel from workspace settings. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that.

We do not issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period after a cancellation, except where required by law.

4. Refund eligibility

We want you to be satisfied with Relay. We may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion in cases such as:

  • A duplicate or accidental charge
  • A billing error on our side
  • An extended service outage that materially prevented you from using Relay
  • A renewal charged immediately after a good-faith cancellation attempt

5. Non-refundable charges

Except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy, the following are generally non-refundable:

  • Partial billing periods after a cancellation
  • Fees for periods during which the workspace was active and accessible
  • Charges more than 60 days old at the time of the request

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the email associated with your workspace. Include your company name and the approximate date and amount of the charge. We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

7. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Paddle. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our site. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
